Glee Cast refers to the ensemble of actors and singers who starred in the American musical comedy-drama television series "Glee." The show aired on the Fox network from 2009 to 2015 and was created by Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan. Set in the fictional William McKinley High School in Lima, Ohio, the series follows a high school glee club called New Directions as they compete in show choir competitions while navigating personal and social challenges. The original core cast included Matthew Morrison as Will Schuester, the glee club director; Lea Michele as Rachel Berry, a talented and ambitious singer; Cory Monteith as Finn Hudson, the school quarterback who joins the glee club; Chris Colfer as Kurt Hummel, a fashion-forward and openly gay student; and other standout performers such as Amber Riley as Mercedes Jones, Kevin McHale as Artie Abrams, Jenna Ushkowitz as Tina Cohen-Chang, and Dianna Agron as Quinn Fabray. Additional prominent cast members included Jane Lynch as Sue Sylvester, the school’s cheerleading coach and frequent antagonist to the glee club. Glee was notable for its diverse cast and groundbreaking representation of LGBTQ+ characters and storylines. Its innovative use of music helped it become a cultural phenomenon, with the Glee Cast regularly topping music charts through covers of popular songs, ranging from contemporary pop hits to Broadway standards. The cast released numerous albums and toured internationally, showcasing their vocal and performance talents. Despite changes in cast throughout its six-season run, the Glee Cast maintained a strong fan base and left a lasting impact on television and musical storytelling.
