SXSW - South by Southwest festival starting this weekend in Austin Texas will welcome Boston-based punk rockers Linnea’s Garden. They have a slot at the now legendary - It’s a Van Fest. Their music and live performance channels '70s punk, riot grrrl, and goth, with a mission to inject energy and destroy expectations through a queer femme lens.

Linnea’s Garden are ready to conquer the world with righteous vengeance, as they return with their catchy new single ‘Stop Codon’!, out now on streaming platforms. Simply establishing that this is a band you do not want to miss out on! This is their biggest year yet. This ambitious new chapter will be supported by a single release show in Boston, and then a Southwest US Tour in March. When it comes to the meaning behind ‘Stop Codon’, lead singer and band founder Linnea Herzog reveals how “I felt fed up with people who are always in crisis mode to get attention. ‘Stop Codon’ is like an off switch for your DNA. ‘Stop Codon’ is a metaphor for cutting off bad habits, toxic thought patterns, and exercising free will. Only you can release your own personal weight of the world.” The Boston-based trio is led by Linnea on guitar and lead vocals. Since forming in 2020, they have toured across 18+ states, released four records, and achieved international airplay. Their 2024 EP, ‘Looking Forward to the Moment’, is a celebration of staying true to yourself. ‘Chaotic Bisexual Summer’ was the record’s lead single, and it coincided with the band’s first Midwest tour. Beyond ‘Stop Codon’ their creative journey will continue at full speed with a new EP entitled ‘Get Heard’.
