Americana singer-songwriter and guitarist Jenny Colquitt has a new album ‘Pockets Full of Rain’ - to be released on 1st May 2026

To give us a taste of the new work, Jenny will release ‘Peace Man’ as a single on 3rd April. ''Peace Man'' is a gripping, upbeat song which takes the listener on a journey as it presents many twists and turns through both its structure and production leaving the listener on the edge of their seat. The track is acoustic led but with a heavy band backing to add power and beef to the tracks weight. Radio 2’s - Paul Sexton commented:- 'Very much recommended, for her strong and expressive voice, impactful lyrics and winning melodies'” Behind The Song - ''Peace Man'' was written about an unsavoury encounter that was experienced by a close family member and is based on this true story. The song takes the listener on the journey of this encounter and weaves through themes of faith, love, grief and manipulation. The song is a 'hit back' at using grief to manipulate a situation for personal gain. The characters in the story are exaggerated versions of real-life events and make for a humorous yet hard hitting upbeat ballad. To support the album release, Jenny will embark on an e'eight-date headline ‘Pockets Full of Rain’ May/June 2026 UK Tour' in intimate venues across the country. More dates to be announced.
