Very few musicians have built a career on absurdity and ridiculousness the way horsegiirL has. The first ever horse-human hybrid DJ is back on our screens and blessing our ears with her high energy techno debut album. After blowing up and going viral on TikTok by streaming her upbeat track, ‘My Barn, My Rules’ providing horse facts, catchy lyrics and electronic beats while wearing a horse mask. HorsegiirL shortly after released her EP in 2025 titled, ‘v.i.p - very important pony’, featuring numerous unique remixes and incredible stand-alone singles, horsegiirL remains in her own fantastic lane and has finally released her long-awaited debut album that is perfect for summer and the festival season. Affectionately known as ‘Farmies’, horsegiirL fans are being invited and encouraged to experience her self-awakening debut album, ‘NATURE IS HEALING.’ Filled with electronic beats, layered animal sounds and of course horse references, horsegiirL has us eating hay out of the palm of her hand and galloping to stream services. The Berlin based artist is known for her hardcore club tracks and ‘NATURE IS HEALING’ has contributed and continues her unique legacy as a DJ and producer unlike any other. In the opening track ‘351%’ horsegiirL uses percentages to describe herself to her audience and reintroduce herself. “One percent angel 90 percent not. A few percent crazy, 100 percent hot. 12 percent ‘Oh my god’ five percent, ‘what?’ If I was a symphony, it would be a bop.” Are lyrics that I have not been able to get out of my head all week. ‘That’s my beach!’ is already horsegiirL’s fourth most popular song on spotify despite only being released on the 5th of June. HorsegiirL takes her Farmies to the beach, or more specifically her beach, creating a sound like no other, using techno and club classic style sounds, horsegiirL’s beach is full of peaches, tan lines, and funky beats. ‘An apple a day,’ captures horsegiirL’s love for the classic horsey snack and the advice her dad gave her. Highlighting her favourite is a Pink Lady apple, she encourages fans to have an apple a day, to keep the doctor away, introducing the doctor's perspective to really amp up the wacky and creative way horsegiirL thinks and makes music. Last but not least, the final track ‘MUSIC GOES ON’ slowly builds up in volume with layers of horsegiirL’s angelic vocals, before adding in an electric techno beat and a nod to the haters as she repeats “my music goes on” over the club track, highlighting that she’s not returning to the stable anytime soon. HorsegiirL is an artist everyone should experience as she is truly unlike any other person or animal creating music.
