Review
Sam Fender's debut album, Hypersonic Missiles, is a powerful showcase of his songwriting prowess and emotional depth. Blending heartfelt lyricism with anthemic instrumentation, the album captures a raw, youthful energy while tackling themes of social unrest, love, and personal struggles. Tracks like "Dead Boys" poignantly explore mental health, while the title track critiques global issues with a Springsteen-like fervor. Fender's distinctive voice and knack for melodic hooks drive the album, creating a collection of songs that feel both intimate and stadium-ready. Hypersonic Missiles cements Fender as a compelling voice in modern rock and a storyteller with something important to say.
