
Robin Miriam Carlsson, known professionally as Robyn, is a Swedish singer-songwriter born June 12, 1979, in Stockholm. She rose to international fame in the mid-1990s with her debut album Robyn Is Here, which included the hit singles Show Me Love and Do You Know (What It Takes). After years of evolving her sound, she released the critically acclaimed 2010 album Body Talk, highlighted by the anthemic Dancing On My Own. Robyn has continued to influence pop and dance music with bold, emotionally direct songs and innovative production, releasing projects such as Honey (2018) and collaborating with other artists.
