Take That

Take That is a British pop group formed in Manchester in 1990. The original lineup included Gary Barlow (lead vocals, piano), Mark Owen (vocals, guitar), Howard Donald (vocals, drums), Jason Orange (vocals, guitar), and Robbie Williams (vocals). Known for their catchy melodies, harmonious vocals, and energetic performances, Take That became one of the leading boy bands of the 1990s and early 2000s. The band achieved their first major success with their debut album, "Take That & Party" (1992), which included hit singles like "It Only Takes a Minute" and "A Million Love Songs." Their follow-up album, "Everything Changes" (1993), marked a turning point in their career, featuring chart-topping hits such as "Pray" and "Relight My Fire." This album solidified their place in pop music and cemented their popularity. In 1995, Robbie Williams left the band to pursue a solo career, which led to a period of uncertainty for Take That. However, they continued to release music and achieved further success with their album "Nobody Else" (1995), which included the hit single "Back for Good." Despite their success, the band eventually disbanded in 1996. Following their split, each member pursued individual projects, with Robbie Williams achieving substantial solo success. In 2005, Take That reunited as a four-piece (without Williams) and released "Beautiful World," which was met with critical acclaim and commercial success. The album featured hits like "Patience" and "Shine," marking a successful comeback and revitalizing their career. The band continued to enjoy success with subsequent albums, including "Circus" (2008) and "Progress" (2010). The latter marked the return of Robbie Williams to the lineup, resulting in renewed popularity and a series of hit singles, including "The Flood" and "Shame." Take That has since continued to release new music and tour extensively, maintaining their status as one of the most successful and enduring pop acts in the UK. Their later albums, including "III" (2014) and "Wonderland" (2017), showcase their continued evolution as artists. Throughout their career, Take That has been celebrated for their catchy pop songs, memorable performances, and significant influence on the pop music landscape. Their ability to adapt and evolve has ensured their lasting impact and continued relevance in the music industry.
