G-Dragon, whose real name is Kwon Ji-yong, is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, and record producer. Born on August 18, 1988, in Seoul, South Korea, he is best known as the leader of the legendary K-pop group BIGBANG. G-Dragon began his career as a trainee under YG Entertainment at a young age and debuted with BIGBANG in 2006. As both a rapper and songwriter, he played a significant role in shaping the group’s music, contributing to numerous hit songs such as "Haru Haru," "Fantastic Baby," and "Loser." In addition to his work with BIGBANG, G-Dragon has also gained recognition as a solo artist. His solo albums, including "Heartbreaker" (2009), "Coup d'Etat" (2013), and "Kwon Ji Yong" (2017), have been both commercially successful and critically acclaimed.
