Lucy Dacus is an American singer-songwriter and musician known for her introspective lyrics, emotive voice, and genre-blending sound that draws from indie rock, folk, and alternative influences. She was born on May 2, 1995, in Mechanicsville, Virginia, and grew up in a creative environment that nurtured her passion for writing and music.
