YUNGBLUD, born Dominic Richard Harrison on August 5, 1997, in Doncaster, South Yorkshire, England, is a British singer, songwriter, and musician known for his high-energy performances and genre-blending sound. Combining elements of punk rock, hip hop, and pop, YUNGBLUD has established himself as a voice for youth rebellion and social commentary. Raised in a musical family, Harrison was exposed to a wide array of influences from a young age. His grandfather performed with T. Rex, and his father ran a guitar shop, which fostered his early interest in music. He began writing songs in his early teens and moved to London to pursue a career in the industry. YUNGBLUD released his debut single King Charles in 2017, quickly attracting attention for his raw lyrical content and unique style. His self-titled EP came out in early 2018, followed by his debut full-length album, 21st Century Liability, later that year.
