shame
Shame are an English post-punk band formed in 2014 in South London. They consist of vocalist Charlie Steen, guitarists Eddie Green and Sean Coyle-Smith, bassist Josh Finerty, and drummer Charlie Forbes. Their early reputation was built on intense, raw live shows and confrontational lyrics, often exploring personal & social angst. They released their debut album Songs of Praise in January 2018, followed by Drunk Tank Pink in 2021, Food for Worms in 2023, and their most recent album Cutthroat in September 2025. Over the years they’ve been praised for combining sharp social commentary with energy, wit and a willingness to push sonically while retaining a punk-edge.
