Perrie Edwards is a British singer and songwriter best known as a member of the internationally successful girl group Little Mix. Born on July 10, 1993, in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, England, she rose to fame after competing on the eighth season of the UK television show "The X Factor" in 2011. Alongside Jesy Nelson, Leigh-Anne Pinnock, and Jade Thirlwall, she became part of Little Mix, which was the first group to win the competition. With Little Mix, Perrie achieved widespread acclaim and commercial success, releasing multiple chart-topping albums and hit singles such as "Wings," "Black Magic," "Shout Out to My Ex," and "Touch."
