ROLE MODEL is the stage name of Tucker Pillsbury, an American singer, songwriter, and musician known for his emotionally honest lyrics and genre-blending pop sound. Born on May 15, 1997, in Portland, Maine, Pillsbury initially pursued a career in filmmaking before turning his focus to music while attending college. He began releasing lo-fi hip-hop and indie tracks under the name Dillis but later rebranded as ROLE MODEL, embracing a more polished and personal sound. ROLE MODEL gained early attention with his 2017 debut EP Arizona in the Summer, which showcased his introspective storytelling and melodic sensibilities.
