Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon

Bring Me The Horizon is a British rock band formed in Sheffield, England, in 2004. The band originally emerged from the metalcore scene, drawing early influences from deathcore and post-hardcore styles. The founding lineup included lead vocalist Oliver Sykes, guitarist Lee Malia, bassist Matt Kean, drummer Matt Nicholls, and keyboardist Jordan Fish, who joined in 2012 and contributed significantly to the band's evolving sound. Their debut album, *Count Your Blessings*, released in 2006, showcased a brutal deathcore style. With subsequent releases, including *Suicide Season* (2008) and *There Is a Hell Believe Me I've Seen It. There Is a Heaven Let's Keep It a Secret.* (2010), the band progressively incorporated more melodic elements and electronic experimentation into their music. The 2013 album *Sempiternal* marked a major turning point, blending atmospheric electronics with heavy rock and earning critical and commercial success. In 2015, they released *That's the Spirit*, which leaned further into alternative rock and electronic influences, followed by *amo* in 2019, a genre-blurring project that incorporated elements of pop, electronic, and hip-hop. The band's EP *Post Human: Survival Horror*, released in 2020, saw a return to heavier rock influences, earning praise for its blend of aggression and modern production. Known for their dynamic sound and constant evolution, Bring Me The Horizon has become one of the most influential rock bands of their generation. They have performed at major festivals worldwide and built a diverse fan base through their willingness to challenge genre boundaries and explore new musical directions.
