This week's UK album chart sees 9 new entries, 3 of which entered straight into the top 20. A couple of top 100 re-entries by way of the Beatles compilation ‘1962-1966’ and Nirvana self titled greatest hits album.

The Nirvana album was originally released shortly after Kurt Cobain’s death in 1994 and includes songs from their 3 studio albums, Bleach, Nevermind, and In Utero, as well as the much loved MTV Unplugged In New York.

Olivia Dean’s now platinum selling album The Art Of Loving is at number one. Her mother was a big fan of the The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill singer and 8 time Grammy award winner. Lauryn Hill was the inspiration for Olivia’s middle name.

The highest chart entries this week are The Fall-Off by J. Cole, Piss In The Wind by Joji and Clair Obscur - Expedition 33 - Original Soundtrack by Lorien Testard. Clair Obscur comprises the music written specifically for the role playing video game of the same name, developed by French studio Sandfall Interactive.

Other new chart entries this week are, Dagger by Ist Ist (21), Yaqeen by Marnz Malone (36), Toothpaste by Crystal Tides (37), Woodcut by Big Big Train (51), The Crux Deluxe by Djo (66).

Under Heaven Over Hell by Florence + The Machine creeps in at number 96, entering the top 100 for the first time. Originally released in 2023 as a compilation album to introduce new fans to some of their earlier music.

The highest chart climber is from the Puerto Rican rapper and singer Bad Bunny. His album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, moves up to number 2 following his Super Bowl Halftime Show.
