Cowboy is the fifth studio album by the British synth-pop duo Erasure, released on February 28, 2000, in the UK and March 7, 2000, in the US. The album reached a peak chart position of number 16 in the UK and number 18 in the US Billboard Heatseekers chart. It was released under the Mute Records label. Cowboy was recorded at the PUK Studios in Denmark and produced by Erasure themselves along with engineer and co-producer Matt Schwartz.
